What’s in the Water at ESPN?

For the third time in four years, ESPN has been forced to terminate the employment of one of its well known sports broadcasters.  Veteran announcer, Ron Franklin, who handled play-by-play responsibilities on ESPN college football telecasts, was terminated yesterday for making a sexist comment to a female colleague, Jeanne Edwards, an ESPN college football sideline reporter.

Brett Favre – Lessons Learned

Happy New Year!  Welcome to the Lehigh Valley Law Blog!  What better time to dive into a new (for us) mode of communication than the New Year.  I am the Chairman of the Tallman, Hudders & Sorrentino Labor and Employment Law Department.  I, along with my colleagues in the L&E Department—Jeff Stewart, Ed Easterly, and Steve Hoffman—hope to use this blog on a regular basis to share with you important, interesting, relevant, or maybe just humorous developments in the labor and employment law area.  We hope that you enjoy our posts and welcome all comments and/or questions that they may generate.
